ARC Battery Discovery

Find batteries with your connected assistant.

ARC Battery Discovery helps identify one EV or hybrid battery using a VIN, an exact vehicle year, make and model, an exact battery name, or a known ARC battery ID.

Connect your account

You need an ARC account with a verified email address. Add ARC Battery Discovery in your assistant’s connector settings, then sign in on ARC and review the requested access. Connecting does not use an unlock. Never enter your ARC password in a conversation.

Choose one battery

Ask to identify a battery and choose one of the returned candidates when several match. Candidate matches are identification aids; confirm the actual pack before fitment or handling decisions.

Confirm access on ARC

For a locked record, open the secure ARC confirmation link and review the selected battery and your allowance. Only your explicit confirmation on ARC uses an unlock. Free accounts share three new record unlocks per month across ARC and connected assistants; accounts with unlimited access keep that access. Previously unlocked records use no additional credit.

Return to the same conversation and ask for the summary. Available fields include chemistry, DOT hazard class, capacity in kWh and weight in pounds, plus a link to the full ARC record. A DOT field is not complete shipping or handling guidance.

Limits and troubleshooting

The connector supports individual battery lookups and limited summaries. Bulk exports, batch VIN decoding, purchasing and quotations are outside its scope. Selection links expire after 15 minutes and belong to the linked account. If a link expires or you switch accounts, repeat the targeted lookup. If your allowance is exhausted, previously unlocked records remain available.

Manage access and get help

Manage assistant connections on ARC to revoke all connected assistants’ access. Disconnecting preserves your ARC account and unlocked records. Summaries already returned remain in the assistant’s conversation.
